Northampton Police Association

The Northampton Police Department was founded in 1884.  In 1905, the Northampton Police Relief Association was founded to promote the best interests of its members and to aid and assist them when in need.  At the time, there was a greater need to provide assistance to officers who were killed or injured in the line of duty.  Membership was for regularly appointed police officers of the Northampton Police Department.  Today, with the advent of injured on duty and line of duty death benefits, The Northampton Police Relief Association has taken a greater charitable role within the Northampton community and greater Hampshire County area.  Our membership consists of full time police officers, special officers, and retirees of the Northampton Police Department.

To accomplish and continue with our charitable mission in the community, The Northampton Police Association conducts fundraising once a year.  This is the one and only time that the Northampton Police Association solicits donations.  Our fundraising is done exclusively by TCI America of Seekonk, MA.
